Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head...

We are definitely having some wet, dreary weather in northeast Ohio today! Actually, it has been here since Saturday evening. It's really a bit chilly for this time of year, but you won't hear me complaining! The weatherman is saying it will be back around 90 in a couple of days.

So it sets me to wondering...

What is your favorite season/weather?

My favorite times of the year are late spring and early fall. I love the new, green look to the world after winter. I also love the beauty of a crisp, sunny fall day, with the trees clothed in their autumn finery. My favorite temperature is between 70 and 75 degrees (Fahrenheit, of course!).

What is your favorite???

I'm an autumn girl, but summer is a close second. Like you, I'm most comfortable with temps in the 70s. Anything lower is cold, in my book.

Sorry bout all the rain up there, but there's a hurricane barreling down on this area. We'll likely be joining Ohio soon, as far as dealing with the wet stuff.

Hang in there.

Hummmmm... I will just tell you what I love about each. Winter is nice when the snow is lightly falling in down in those big chunks and your watching from your couch under a fuzzy blanket and drinking hot cocoa. I love mid to late spring; because I get to start working in my garden. Don't you just love seeing your bulbs peeking up from under the dirt?! Summer is great for sitting at the end of a dock and splashing your feet in the water or laying in a hammock watching the white puffy clouds blow by while listening to your kids play in the yard. The peak of fall is great because we get to go to the apple orchard drink cider and eat fresh warm doughnuts while looking at brightly colored trees and picking out a big fat pumpkin. (Yipee, this one is coming soon! ) I love all the seasons...it's always hard for me to pick just one. I guess that I am glad I live in Michigan and get a great taste of all four.

As you know, fall is my all time favorite. I love the colors and the crisp air. In my life, fall has typically been a time of new beginnings. When I was younger, it was when I started a new school year. Now, it is the time that I am beginning a new job and our kids are beginning a new school. For me this fills me with great anticipation and it's a great time to sit back and thank God for all His blessings and the beauty of it all.

I love spring the most. I love seeing all the "new" things come up in my flower garden. And all the baby animals, that we used to see being born on the farm. My favorite temp is around 80..not too hot and not too cold. Just right for going barefoot.

I'm trying to find beauty in all seasons - but still having a hard time when its below zero! I think that about 75 is the perfect temp, and some rain now and again is perfect.
